Students in the Junior School (Prep-Year 6) also have opportunities to experience specialised subjects in Physical Education, Music, and Japanese.
An elective program is offered in the Middle Years (Year 7-9) in The Arts (Music, Drama, and Visual Arts) and Technology Studies (Design Technology, Home Economics, and Information Computer Technology) as well as the opportunity to extend Japanese language studies from Year 9 as an elective.
Senior School allows students in Years 10 – 12 to explore a variety of pathways for their future such as:
ATAR and vocational pathways;
School-based traineeships;
Development of career plans;
Work experience opportunities;
Partnerships with TAFE and Universities;
Subject range across the Sciences, The Arts, Humanities, Hospitality, and Technology.

Pastoral care is a key part of the LORDS culture. We acknowledge that the world is not perfect and at times, relationships may become damaged or broken. While it is important to teach and model building positive relationships, it is equally important to rebuild broken or damaged relationships in a peaceful and respectful manner. Through Restorative Practices, our staff work with students as required to learn how to resolve and deal with conflict to repair, rebuild and restore relationships enabling all to move forward with dignity.

LORDS is a non-selective K-12 Christian school. There are no special criteria for the offer of a place at the school.
While our current entry years at LORDS are Kindergarten, PREP, and Year 7, places may be available in other Year levels.

Our fleet of buses travels the northern Gold Coast collecting students each day, and then dropping them back home.
Our campus is connected to Ormeau Train Station, so it’s a short 2 minute walk for students who catch the train.

LORDS is proud to offer scholarships (academic only) and bursaries to future and current students entering Years 7 to 12 in 2027 who excel in any of the following areas:

A scholarship is offered for the remainder of the student’s enrolment at LORDS. The percentage discounted from the tuition fees is fixed for the duration of the scholarship.
Bursaries are reviewed annually, and the percentage may vary from year to year.
